Sound Strategies Wealth Management was founded with the sole purpose of providing financial advice, guidance and management to individuals, families and businesses in an effort to help them pursue their goals with a higher level of probability for success.

As your life evolves, we have a process to help you identify areas of opportunities and situations that may be unfamiliar to you. How these events are handled can be vital in the success of your financial plan. We utilize our experience from serving many clients and families to recognize how certain life events impact others and what financial implications that may have.

As your needs change, our disciplined process allows us to be flexible and nimble in defining how to address your situation.

We have found that our clients benefit from communication that is pertinent to their financial situation, strategy and goals. Our clients generally want to be financially educated, which not only helps them make more informed decisions, but also allows them to better understand their strategy for the long- term and the rationale for the investment decisions being made.

We serve clients with varying levels of needs and throughout the many stages of their life.  We recognize as the needs of our clients change, so does their planning.  While many of our clients have assets between $500,000 and $3,000,000, we engage new clients based on compatibility and when our services might be most applicable to the client.

Adam Levy founded Sound Strategies Wealth Management with the vision of creating a truly world-class experience for select individuals and families seeking financial independence. Prior to its founding, Adam held a Senior Vice President position and served as an independent advisor since 2007. Beginning his career at Merrill Lynch in Tucson, AZ, Adam focused on helping clients prepare, transition and enjoy retirement. He attended the University of Arizona and furthered his financial education through the College for Financial Planning by obtaining the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation. Through his disciplined process, personalized service and stewardship, Adam has developed deep, lasting relationships with many of his clients and is thankful for the trust and confidence placed in him. Adam holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial and a Life and Health Insurance license.

Over his career, Adam has been recognized by his peers and also appeared in financial publications and as a guest on CNBC. He was the recipient of awards in innovation within a former firm and community service in 2012. He has appeared on panels of industry conferences and enjoys helping his colleagues.

Adam and his wife, Lindsay, currently live in Bellevue, WA with their children, Iely and Tucker, and family dog, Roxie. Weekends devoted to cheering on Iely’s select soccer team are common and, while Tucker has yet to take his fist step, he keeps the family on their toes. As Vice President and board member of a local charity, Pinky’s Passion for a Parkinson’s Cure, Adam continues to serve his community. In memory of a beloved teacher and golf coach, he co-founded golf tournaments to raise funds for The First Tee of Greater Seattle. He also served as a Wish Grantor for the Make-a-Wish Seattle chapter.
